Fodsports intercoms of different models can be paired.
But the software of different models is not the same. So there might be some incompatibility problem if different models are paired together.
Generally, the FX8 series(FX8, FX8 Pro, FX8 Air) and M1-S series can pair together and support 2-10 riders intercom.
Besides, the FX6 and FX6 S can also pair together and support 6 riders group intercom.
For other models, if paired with a different model, they can only get an one-to-one communication.
If you want a stable group intercom, you can choose the same model with your friend. Or choose the model that is compatible with theirs.
I have two FX6S units, and my friend has the Lexin MTX Meshcom model.

Best regards
Hi Arnt,
April 9, 2026 at 2:42 amFirstly, thanks for using Fodsports intercoms.
The FX6 S uses Bluetooth 5.0 tech, it has universal pairing ability. It can support pairing with various Bluetooth devices.
For different Bluetooth intercoms, they may use different Bluetooth chips (hardware aspect) and software systems (software aspect), which may cause incompatibility problems. So, sometimes, multiple Bluetooth intercoms from different brands may not support group communication.
As for the Lexin MTX Meshcom, it is a mesh intercom, uses mesh technology, the FX6 S uses common Bluetooth technology. So they may cannot support group talk, but just 2-way communication.
You can check if the Lexin MTX Meshcom has a common Bluetooth connection way or universal pairing way, so that it can pair with the FX6 S.
Thanks for your understanding.
