Fx7 and Fx8 Air – Intercom doubts

Hi All!!

Need some help on using intercom function using the new FX7 and my old unit FX8 air.

The two units are already paired, and when they turn on, they automatically pair, and I can automatically can talk to the passenger. On the FX8 Air, if you press the intercom button, the unit interrupts the conversation without unpairing from the FX 7 and have acess to music. By simply press the same button again the passenger can resume/restore the conversation, and so we use the intercom only when we want.

My problem is trying to do the same thing on the FX7. If I press the intercom button on the FX7, it cycles between friends mode and coms off, and I can’t resume the conversation with the FX8.

Does anyone know how I can solve this issue? Any buttom combination that restore the conversation?

there should be a way to pause conversations

You are lucky you have got this far. My mate has the FX8 Air and i have the FX7, we just can’t get it to pair with each other no matter what we try 🙁

Any tips on getting them paired together? I might then be able to try test / answer your question.
